Connecting Bluetooth Remote control with SpeechEase Teleprompter

The SpeechEase Teleprompter App allows seamless integration with a Bluetooth remote control, giving you the freedom to control your teleprompter conveniently.
Follow this step-by-step guide to connect your remote and get started:
Step 1: Turn on the Bluetooth Remote Control
- Power on your Bluetooth remote control by pressing the designated power button.
- Ensure the remote is in pairing mode. Most devices enter pairing mode automatically when powered on for the first time. If not, consult the remote’s manual (usually involves holding down a specific button).
Step 2: Enable Bluetooth on Your Device
- For Smartphones:
- Open the Settings app on your smartphone.
- Navigate to Bluetooth settings.
- Turn on Bluetooth if it’s not already enabled.
- For PCs/Laptops:
- On Windows, go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices, then toggle Bluetooth on.
- On macOS, open System Preferences > Bluetooth, and ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
Step 3: Pair the Remote Control
- In your device’s Bluetooth settings, look for available devices.
- Select the name of your Bluetooth remote from the list. It may appear as something like “Teleprompter Remote” or the model name.
- If prompted, confirm the pairing request. Some devices may ask for a PIN—check your remote manual for details (commonly 0000 or 1234).
Step 4: Open the SpeechEase Teleprompter App
- Go to www.SpeechEase.app SpeechEase Teleprompter App is web based App, so you dont have to download or install anything.
- Login using your google account.
- from your dashboard, you can click Menu Teleprompter
- You can copy paste your script or load it from the app (There is built in Vlog Writer, Speech Writer)
- Click enter from the bluetooth remote control to start the teleprompter
- SpeechEase App, has two options:
- You can run teleprompter, without activating the recording. By this option, you can use real camera to record your speech or your vlog. Your smartphone are used as teleprompter only
- You can activate recording as you run the teleprompter. You can later on download the video as WEBM format, or MP4.
- SpeechEase App, is the only teleprompter that has option to let the app roll the text automatically or you can also change the text (forward, backward) manually.
